I paint objects that are fragile, transient and  perishable,  flowers and fruit. I try to capture the  power and strength that I see in these ephemeral objects, to give them a presence and expression through the use of strong colour and contrast, to  represent the inherent beauty I see in their  inevitable decline. My art is constantly evolving, not fixed to one  style or subject - inspired by my own life  experiences, which my work reflects. “Life is a rainbow which also includes black”.  Yevgeny Yevtushenko - Poet.
